# Marco Massari Calderone — About me

[Canonical page](https://marcomc.com/bio/)

I’m a software developer and infrastructure consultant. Outside work, I ride motorcycles, go diving and tinker with Raspberry Pi projects.

## My work and interests

I work on applications, APIs and the infrastructure behind them. Depending on the project, that might mean developing a feature, connecting two services or fixing a deployment that keeps failing.

My tools include Swift, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP and shell scripts. I also work with Linux, containers, infrastructure automation and SQL. I document how things work so they can be maintained after handover.

Away from the computer, I enjoy motorcycle trips and diving. At home, I experiment with Raspberry Pi and connected devices. Some of those experiments become the projects you’ll find on my GitHub.

## Languages

I am multilingual: Italian is my native language, and I speak English and Spanish fluently. I have an intermediate command of French and basic conversational Portuguese.
