# Marco Massari Calderone — Services

[Canonical page](https://marcomc.com/)

I’m Marco Massari Calderone. I develop applications and websites, connect services through APIs, and automate infrastructure. I can help you build something new or work on a system you already have.

## What I can help with

Application development, infrastructure and automation. We can start with a specific task or discuss what your project needs.

### Applications that fit

Native Apple applications and practical tools shaped around the people using them. From a focused prototype to a maintainable codebase.

Swift · SwiftUI · Python

### Web, built with care

Fast, accessible websites, web applications and backend services. Thoughtful interfaces with integrations that connect the moving parts.

JavaScript · TypeScript · PHP

### DevOps & cloud systems

Repeatable infrastructure, dependable delivery pipelines and clearer operations. I help simplify deployment, diagnose failures and make maintenance manageable.

Linux · Docker · Kubernetes · Ansible · CI/CD

### APIs & automation

Connect services, move data safely and remove repetitive work. Custom command-line tools, API integrations and Google Workspace automation.

Python · REST APIs · Apps Script · SQL

### Connected devices

Useful bridges between hardware and software: Raspberry Pi services, device telemetry and home-automation integrations.

Raspberry Pi · MQTT · Home Assistant

### Technical guidance

A fresh pair of eyes on architecture, code quality or a stubborn operational problem. Concrete recommendations, documented choices and a clear next step.

Reviews · Troubleshooting · Technical planning

## How we work together

1. **Understand** — We start with your context, priorities and constraints.
2. **Agree** — I propose a scope, deliverables and a quote before the work begins.
3. **Build** — Small, reviewable steps with visible progress and useful feedback.
4. **Hand over** — Working code, practical documentation and agreed next steps.

## Before we start

### Can you work on an existing project

Yes. We can start with existing code, infrastructure or a process that needs attention. The first step is to understand the context and constraints.

### How is a quote prepared

Tell me what you need, what already exists and any relevant deadlines. We agree the scope, expected deliverables and quote before work starts.

### What happens at handover

The agreed work includes working code, practical documentation and clear next steps. Any further support is discussed as part of the scope.
